Show Me Your Glory

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

I started to shake when I saw his face but I did not flee this time; I cried out to the Lord and he gave me strength to endure.  It was a bitter-sweet moment of silent rejection.   This feeling is not a stranger to me because I felt it before.  It is not always what a person says that causes you to feel rejected.  Many times the feeling of rejection comes from what they don’t say.

When we love someone or care for someone who refuses to speak to us or when we accomplish something great but no one seems to notice; this is silent rejection.

If you renew your mind, body, and soul everyday and ask Jesus to walk with you so that you do not lose your way then your greatness will be Glorifying God.  Only through the glory of God can any human really see greatness.

Being the next Wonder Woman for the world was something I let go of years ago but the kids that I put on the uniform for make me feel like the true nature of a Wonder Woman hero.  The hero that people see is what God allows.  If you cry out to the Lord; you will see God’s glory.
