My Soul Cries Out

This is  a season that is releasing the soul’s desires of the heart.  One of my sisters in the hospital and prayers are going out all over.  I am scared but with some good news yesterday God brings hope.   As I was spending time with her kids and my own yesterday after church, I recognized what the Lord was reminding us.  Life is precious and short on this earth.  He wants us to stay focused on him and remember that Love is the most important thing.  Stuff, money, work, and social status are worthless and meaningless to the Lord without love.  Anything and everything God blesses you with do not cling to because  they are fleeting, he only gives you things to glorify him and to bless others by sharing his Love and truth.

In challenging times like this my soul always wants to reach out to those I love or have loved but we often deter speaking to those from our past because of the lost relationship.  What do we do? Pray and love.  Memories are good because they help us learn and grow in Christ.  We may not get to spend time with everyone we love but we can still love them and pray for them.

It’s ok to love that is God’s greatest gift.  Without love nothing else really matters.  Today, take time out and remember your loved ones both whom are with you or are in the past.  Love covers all fears so do not be afraid to love.

Ecclesiastes 3 (NIV)

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
