Trust in the Lord!
As the Holy Spirit works within me I find myself weary. Anything worth having comes with a price. As God works in me to make me more Christ-like and a greater woman it will of course not always brings smiles but often tears. I woke up this morning and God put this song in my head. It keeps playing in my head as I read through Gods word. ” I’ve been trying to get to you for a long time…” I love the Lord!
“I will give your life to you as a prize in all places, wherever you go.” (Jeremiah 45:5)
Life is a gift and everything given to us in life that is good is from God. Within every choice we make the next step is determined. God has a plan for you but we have a gift of free will so you must surrender this will daily in order to know what to do for the Lord.
When we seek to glorify ourselves instead of God we step off the righteous path but all you need to do is cry out and surrender and he will show you the way back to the path he has for you.
When I find myself speechless I do not fret too much. The Lord binds my heart to process what he has shown me and within these frustrating but wisdom bound moments I know he is good. God challenges those of great character so be still and know he is God.
“Humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth and honor and life.” (Proverbs 22:4)
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing, and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2)
You know the saying “Mess with the Bull you’re going to get his horns.” or in “The Hulk” Banner would say, “You don’t want to make me angry; it would be very bad.”
The question is why do people intentionally provoke? It is simple, hurt people hurt people. Either we do it on purpose or not we often hurt others because we have been hurt ourselves and we lash out. “The purpose of a man’s heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out.” (Proverbs 20:5)
In an hostile situation where you have provokers you should always say a quick prayer to the Lord for guidance, you can use the breathing technique such as 5 second breath in, 3 second hold, 5 second out, remove yourself from the presence of the provoker or if you have security around you can have the provoker removed depending on…
