Grant me a Godly Foundation

We are currently seeking grants to give us a firm foundation to serve the single parent families.  I have applied for several already but it doesn’t mean we will get the grant.  There are many looking for help to serve the Lord in the world that require funds that we may not have up front to give.

With your help finding the right Grant may be possible.  Please email me at or comment on this post if you know of a grant for our cause which is to help the single parent families with a fresh start in life with a Godly foundation.

Deuteronomy 28:12:

“The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”

With all things there is a certain amount of disciple that is required of us.  There is no such thing as free. Everything comes with a price.  With Gods love you must trust and love him first.  We only ask you to give him a chance, we can’t make you surrender but we can offer the tools to help you find your way through his loving way.

Please share this with others and donate if you can. Unfortunately, there are a lot of single parent families in this world but with Gods love we can help restore them and help them find the will to live for God and the gifts he has given them and not just for themselves.

REVELATION: Chimp or Champ?

see hear speak no evil

Psalm 51:7 (The message)

What you’re after is the truth from the inside out.

In life if you do not tell the truth you become part of the lie.  One chimp knows that if he is not seen then his identity is safe, another chimp believes that if he doesn’t hear the harm he has caused his true identity will be safe, and the last chimp knows that his voice will reveal the truth that has been hidden by many.

Sometimes we try so hard to protect what so many people have already hurt: our hearts.  The fear of being hurt can paralyze us to the point of not living.  With all the killing and death in this world It makes me wonder why we don’t fight harder to be with the ones we love.

A champ is one whom fights to win and a chimp is an animal that very few people can communicate with. God gave us life to live for his glory and to be the guardian over all the animals; not to act like one.  Are you a Chimp or a Champ?

Limited Time Only!

Life is precious and short.  How can we live each day to the fullest to maximize our impact on the world and glorify God? We start on our knees in prayer and from there God will walk you step-by-step through your day.  With each step you take you have a choice to listen to Gods direction or take your own directional step.  He gave us free will to follow him or to follow nothing.  If you choose your way that is exactly what you will have; nothing.  Even the richest of men and women have nothing without the Lord because they feel empty inside.

Proverbs 28:6 Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a rich man whose ways are perverse.

What will you do with your day today?  Will you live for God or live for you? Write down the things you want to do today with honesty and then pray about them all. God will show you what you need to do.

He’s Got This!

The past few days God has shown me that where I belong is in his hands.  He’s got this!  I am officially a non-profit organization helping Single parents with a fresh start in life.

I can start receiving donations and grants to help others and it feels great.  Now is the difficult part of gaining the trust and faith of others through donations to keep us alive.  I hope you will be one of them!

God will take care of all our needs so I know he will speak to the hearts of those whom are meant to reach out to donate and spread the word about our great cause.

Isaiah 49;15-16 See! I will not forget you, I have carved you on the palm of my hands, your walls are ever before me.

Where do I belong?

It may seem strange to some but with all the changes I am going through I feel a sense of not belonging anywhere.  I have been through this before and I lean on the Lord more than ever and K-love and it works.

God is invoking changes that can be scary and lonely.  The desires of my heart are changing and what I need and want are weighing on me more so than usual. I ask myself “Am I working hard enough and am I using my time wisely?”, “What can I do to gain peoples faith in me?” and “Am I where I should be?”.  Seeking knowledge and wisdom to help myself and others as Single parents but praying that my journey will not be so lonely in the near future.  Most people want to have love, and marriage but we are human and it doesn’t always workout the way we had hoped.  However, God uses our choices for the greater good; by falling we have the opportunity to seek him and rise again in his light.  God’s light will reveal all area’s of our life that need to be repaired.

With all the wonderful and exhausting changes I know that I am blessed but I still feel as though I am alone but I know God has his reasons. The one thing I will never do is give up hope.  I may have a bad day but no one’s lack of faith in me will shake my faith in Jesus and God our father.

With all these feelings I had the urge to watch “Baby Boom” yesterday; I love that movie.  It is a funny comedy with love and sorrow and of course a happy ending for a hopeless romantic like myself. We do not always get what we want but he provides us with all that we need.

Isaiah 58:11

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.

Phil 4:19

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus..

Invest, Instruct, Impact

Knowledge and Wisdom is key to thriving in this world.  By seeking God and surrendering your life you will start out on the right path.  As he shows you his daily plan for your life invest in yourself with education and understanding of what you are passionate about.  God has given us gifts to share and to glorify his name through these gifts.

Invest in yourself through gain knowledge and applying it through wisdom, instruct others on your teachings so that they may learn how to invest in themselves, and impact others with the gifts God has given you to glorify his name.

By going back to school and/or spending some quality time in the library you can gain  knowledge and wisdom.  Our local library Southaven Public Library is a wonderful resource with free online educational courses.

How Can It Be?

passion of christ

The song How can it be? says it all.  When I think of how unworthy I have felt of Gods love or anyone’s love in the past I think of this song and the image above. When we hit rock bottom and stop relying on ourselves and others for help and look to our Lord and God our Father for repentance and the renewing of our souls we will find the path to holiness and Christ-like image God intended us to be.

It is important to remember no matter how dirty we get God can clean us up.  If you surrender yourself to the Lord Jesus Christ and God our father you will find a new life so much more beautiful and peaceful then you can ever image.

I had a dream over a year ago with the image of a painting that I am preparing to do.  I only hope that God allows it to be as beautiful as the image in my head.

Our goal with Acting Out For Love Corp. is to give a firm helping hand with a Godly foundation.   If we don’t know the answer we will pray and God will help us find it.  As a single parent myself I know  how hard it can be and the loneliness you feel even when you live near family.  When you first hit the door running for a new life you may think you can handle it but the truth is without God it is just pure recklessness.

Seek God first and do your best to follow his truth and he will take care of the rest.

John 15 1-3
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.  He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.  You are already clean because of the words I have spoken to you.

Real people helping to change the world one life at a time!

We are looking for Businesses and Individuals to support our purpose of helping Single parent families get a fresh start.  Many times it’s not just the mom or dad that needs help it is also the Foster parent or grand parent that steps in to help the child or children in need.

We will be working with individuals one on one to help figure out their next step and give them financial support and put them in contact with the right help for their health, and well-being of the entire family.  A fresh start could be as simple as funds to pay for daycare or to buy a car that runs to get them to and from their obligations.

The first step is the hardest; that Leap of Faith.  With prayer and guidance from the Lord we will tackle the little things together to help families thrive with a Godly foundation.
